Partnerships and Sprints
4CTL understands that every school is unique, and every school needs to tailor professional learning to their people, their challenges and their needs. That is why we offer two ways to engage in our professional learning, all based around a modular approach, so schools can focus their energy and attention on what matters most to them.
4CTL Transformative Partnerships
A 4CTL Transformative Partnership is the pathway most schools undertake with us. The Partnership involves on-going strategic planning towards long-term transformation.
It integrates aspects of learning from our 4CTL curriculum pertinent to the needs of the school.
The Partnership is a continuing co-construction of professional learning, facilitated processes and strategies towards the school’s transformative learning goals and vision.
A 4CTL Transformative Partnership also connects schools with our wider 4C Network, which features Network Day conferences, principals’ and leadership retreats, and collaborations across the Network.
4CTL Modular Sprint Learning
The Modular Sprint Learning pathway involves stand-alone professional learning courses for interested teachers and leaders.
The aim of the 4CTL Modular Sprint approach is not necessarily supporting a long-term strategy toward school transformation. Rather, it involves meeting immediate PL needs, and a shorter-term relationship between us and the school.
Typically, Modular Sprint Learning is undertaken over a semester period.
Our PL Curriculum
Both our Transformative Partnerships and Modular Sprint Learning pathways are based on our professional learning curriculum. This is a comprehensive 7 module curriculum, developed from our research and practice, in-school praxis.
