Join us for our term 3 in-person school holiday workshop for teachers in Sydney
TUESDAY OCTOBER 8, 2024
Our term 3 school holiday teacher workshop will explore how to turn the concept of deep assessment into practical assessment actions in the classroom.
We’ll use the 4CTL Wonder Web coherence maker to help plan assessment activities and tasks and to review how these activities assess core competencies and learning dispositions. Teachers will leave with practical action strategies for assessment in their classrooms.

Our CEO, Jamie Gerlach, will be presenting on Monday Nov 11th, at 10am. His workshop is called “Scaffolding Creative Action Across the Curriculum” and will be an interactive, deep learning experience, suitable for teachers of all stages and experience. $15 per session.
A 4C Approach to Wellbeing

We’re busy building a wonderful two day event for team members from our Network Partner Schools. We’ll be exploring the connection between wellbeing and the 4Cs.
Our Network Day events are always times of deep, practical and embodied learning, during which we enjoy plenary sessions, workshops and presentations from our partner schools about how they’re incorporating the 4Cs and other transformative approaches in their school and learning contexts.

AISSA is hosting our introductory workshop series in Adelaide
May 15 & 16th
This powerful introduction to the 4Cs is designed for school leaders wanting to better understand how the 4Cs can enhance and transform their school contexts.
Two consecutive, full day workshops will be held in May, with a third day (date to be determined) held in a school in the Adelaide area, during which participants will observe a 4C approach to teaching being practiced.
