A 4C APPROACH TO WELLBEING
A NETWORK DAYS EVENT
14th & 15th november 2024
ulladulla high School
Wellbeing - it’s the topic at the forefront of so much activity and attention in schools.
But what does it really mean to support wellbeing in a school context?
What might it mean when understood through a 4C lens?
Can curriculum and pedagogy play a part in creating student, teacher and school wellbeing?
This November we’ll be diving deep into what wellbeing really means and how much impact schools, classrooms and teachers really have into student wellbeing.
We’ll explore concepts like:
What does it mean to do being well?
How do learning design, pedagogy, metacognition and driving questions impact wellbeing?
Where is the wellbeing-enhancing path between safety and challenge?
Can schools really positively impact student wellbeing if their lives outside of school are working against it?
And much, much more!
As usual, we’ll have plenty of deep learning through plenary sessions and workshops, as well as our ever-popular bazaar, where schools can showcase how they’re embedding a 4Cs approach in their school contexts.
And you’ll also get time to reflect on what you’ve learned and how you can incorporate that learning into your personal approach in classrooms and staff rooms, as well as discussing how to embrace this new frame for wellbeing into the broader school context with your colleagues.
Join us at this powerful networking event!
