Principals’ Retreat
Leading for Motivation
and Critical Hope
In March 2024 we hosted our third annual embodied, deep learning 2-day workshop for principals and their deputy principals within our 4CTL Network.
We focused on the challenge of leading for motivation and critical hope. Attendees had the opportunity to explore what it looks like to lead their school communities into strength in these two qualities.
We understand the challenges facing schools where motivation and critical hope are not easy. Across the two days of this workshop we gave attendees practices and tools that help develop these qualities in themselves and their teams, time to reflect on the unique challenges of their school contexts and to engage with, support, and be inspired by the experiences of other attendees.
The retreat also provided a priceless opportunity for school leaders to relax and enjoy networking with other leaders from across Australia.
